About Suman Dash

Suman Dash is Chief Operating Officer of the ACSEL Technology Forum, an AI innovation platform in Bengaluru set up under the aegis of the IIT Alumni Centre Bengaluru with support from the Government of Karnataka. She joined in August 2025; the forum runs the Avinya accelerator for early-stage AI start-ups.

Dash has about 20 years of experience across start-up ecosystems, business development and marketing. She was Director at TiE Bangalore (2024-2025), co-founded Aurone Ventures, an incubator and accelerator for early-stage sustainability-focused start-ups (2023-2024), and served as Director of Sauroville Tech (2020-2025). Earlier roles include Deputy Manager at Freecharge, where she managed pan-India organised merchant accounts, Head of Marketing and Communications at Solario GreenTech, and business development positions at NSP Futuretech and SeniorWorld. She co-founded the jewellery e-commerce venture Vastradi and began her career in technical support at Wipro.

Dash holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, and is a trained NLP and mindfulness coach.
