About Shashank Randev
Shashank Randev is Founder and General Partner of 247VC, a seed-stage venture fund launched in 2024. 247VC, a SEBI-registered Category II alternative investment fund, announced its India Fund I in May 2025 with a target corpus of Rs 250 crore to back around 30 startups across consumption, deep tech, enterprise tech and Industry 5.0.
Before 247VC, Randev was a co-founder and Founder VC at 100X.VC from 2019 to 2024, a pre-seed and seed fund that made about 180 investments from its first two funds. Earlier, as Director at Z Nation Lab, Randev launched the accelerator's bootcamp programme, which took in more than 70 startups and invested in 16. From 2009 to 2016 Randev was a founding member of VCCEdge, the financial research platform of VCCircle, rising to Vice President after the business was acquired by News Corp in 2015.
Randev also invests through Randev Ventures, a family office established in 2018 with a presence in India and the UAE, and has made more than 200 seed investments in total.
