About Sandhya Vasudevan
Sandhya Vasudevan is a Board Member of TiE Bangalore, on its Board of Governors since April 2023 and chair of its FinTech committee. She is an Independent Director of TTK Prestige, Himatsingka Seide, Greaves Electric Mobility, Electronica Finance, UC Inclusive Credit and Triveni Power Transmission.
She was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from 2010 to 2021, with roles including head of its Indian offshore centre DBOI, Global Head of Business Engineering, Regional Chief Operating Officer for India, Chief Risk Officer for Deutsche Bank India and Divisional Control and Regulatory Officer for Asia Pacific. From 2001 to 2010 she was Managing Director of Thomson Reuters' India offshore centre, growing it from 200 to 9,000 people. Earlier she set up offshore operations for Guardian Royal Exchange (later part of AXA) and managed the TVS Group's in-house finance companies.
A former Governor of IIIT Delhi and NASSCOM Foundation trustee, she mentors at IIM Bangalore's NSRCEL and wrote 'Hatching Butterflies'. She holds an MBA in marketing and an MA in history.
