Dr Ravikumar Surpur, IAS, is Secretary of the Information Technology and Communication Department and of the Planning and Statistics Department, Government of Rajasthan, and Chairman of RajComp Info Services Limited (RISL). The posting took effect on 24 November 2025. Surpur had held additional charge of the IT&C department since September 2025 while serving as Chairman of the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, and earlier in 2025 was Divisional Commissioner of Bikaner.
An officer of the 2004 batch of the Indian Administrative Service, Rajasthan cadre, Surpur has served as District Collector and District Magistrate of Jaisalmer, Hanumangarh, Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara, Kota and Jodhpur, and as Commissioner of the Commercial Taxes Department (2022-2024) and Secretary, Finance (Revenue) (2024-2025). Other postings include Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department, Director of Elementary Education, Additional Mission Director of the National Rural Health Mission and Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board. From 2019 to 2022 Surpur was on deputation to the Government of Karnataka.
