About M. Balasubramaniam (Bala MS)
M. Balasubramaniam (Bala MS) is CEO of Stratinfinity Inc, Chairman of the Southern Regional Committee of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Deputy Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and AICTE Investor Network. Stratinfinity, which he founded, is a business consulting and technology advisory firm focused on global capability centres.
Bala has more than two decades of experience in the IT industry, with roles at Citibank, Polaris, Dun & Bradstreet and TransUnion. He was a founder director of HigherOne India and founder Managing Director of Blackboard's India R&D centre, and was involved in building the CIBIL credit bureau in India and credit bureaus in Sri Lanka, Egypt, Dubai and Nigeria. He is a former Chairman of IIIT Sri City and of the NASSCOM GCC Council.
He holds management degrees from the University of Madras and is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, with further programmes at the University of Texas and Imperial College London.
