About Sushan Rungta
Sushan Rungta is Chief Technology Officer at Absolute, the Gurugram-based bioscience company, which Rungta joined as CTO in February 2021. Absolute develops biological alternatives to synthetic agricultural inputs, sold through its Inera brand, on a research platform spanning microbiology, molecular biology and AI.
Rungta has spent close to two decades building internet and agritech businesses. Before Absolute, Rungta was co-founder and CTO of agribazaar, an agritech platform for procurement and trading (2016-21), and earlier co-founder and CTO of Clickindia Infomedia, a neighbourhood classifieds site (2007-13), which received a Red Herring 100 Asia award in 2009; Rungta was among 30 finalists for the Businessworld Young Entrepreneur Awards in 2010. In 2026 Rungta co-founded NeoLook AI, which builds event-driven AI systems for marketing workflows.
Rungta holds an MCA in Computer Science from Amity Institute of Information Technology and a PGDM in Marketing from IMT Ghaziabad.
