About Anand Ramakrishnan
Anand Ramakrishnan is Managing Director of Equiniti India (EQ India), the global capability centre of the UK-based share registration, pensions and payments group EQ. He joined in September 2021 and is responsible for the centre's operations in Bengaluru and Chennai, supporting the group's operations, technology and corporate functions in the UK and US. Under him the India unit has grown from about 900 people to around 2,500, more than 40 per cent of the group's global workforce.
Before EQ he was Chief Executive Officer of MFX and Qtek Systems, two Quess Corp IT services subsidiaries, from 2017 to 2021. Earlier he was Chief Strategy Officer, CIO and business unit head at CMS IT Services, Vice President and business head for managed services and cloud at HCL Infosystems, and spent a decade at Wipro, latterly as General Manager and business head for cloud computing services.
He holds an MBA in finance from T.A. Pai Management Institute and a B.E. in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University.
