About Anand Thakur
Anand Thakur is Chief Product and Technology Officer at Reliance Retail, where he leads product and technology for the fashion, lifestyle and beauty businesses, including Ajio, Tira, Swadesh, Shein India, Reliance Trends and the fashion and lifestyle supply chain. He joined Reliance Retail as Chief Technology Officer in December 2021.
He has more than 20 years of experience in technology, product and digital roles. Before Reliance he was Group CTO of REA India (formerly Elara Technologies), which runs Housing.com, PropTiger and Makaan; Chief Digital Officer at Jubilant FoodWorks (Domino's India), where he set up the company's digital team in 2017; and CTO of the fashion e-commerce platform Koovs. Earlier he held technology roles at Lenskart, Adobe, Perot Systems and Infosys and founded the start-up EasyRation. He holds a US patent and has authored several publications.
He holds a BTech in Electronics from YMCA Institute of Engineering.
