About Sandeep Varaganti
Sandeep Varaganti is Chief Executive Officer of JioMart at Reliance Retail, a role he has held since April 2021. JioMart is Reliance Retail's online shopping platform, launched in 2020 in more than 200 cities and towns, selling groceries, fashion, consumer electronics, home goods and general merchandise.
Before Reliance, he spent six years at Prione Business Services, the Amazon and Catamaran joint venture that helps Indian small and medium businesses sell online. He joined Prione in 2015 as Head of Sales and Chief Operating Officer, became Chief Executive Officer in 2018 and Managing Director and CEO in 2019, leading over 700 employees across more than 150 cities. Earlier he worked at Amazon in Hyderabad from 2010 to 2015, where as Senior Manager, Merchant Services, he led a team of over 250 people supporting Amazon's international seller services. He began his career at Cognizant.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, and a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
