About Pawan Sachdeva
Pawan Sachdeva is Senior Managing Director and Technology Head, India at Carelon Global Solutions, the global capability centre of US health insurer Elevance Health. In this role, held since June 2025, Sachdeva leads technology for the company's India operations, with a focus on agentic AI transformation, site leadership and the workforce of the future.
Sachdeva joined the company (then Legato Health Technologies) in 2018 as Director of Technology and went on to serve as Staff Vice President (2020 to 2022) and as Managing Director, Technology and Gurugram Site Leader (2022 to 2025). Before that, Sachdeva spent more than a decade at UnitedHealth Group in project and engineering management roles in Gurugram and Minneapolis, ending as Senior Engineering Manager (Associate Director). Earlier career stops include Synechron and Reliance Communications.
With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare technology and global capability centre leadership, Sachdeva studied at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (2000 to 2002) and completed a programme on creating high-performance organisations at IIM Bangalore in 2012.
