About Pavankumar Gurazada
Pavankumar Gurazada is Associate Director (Academics) at Great Learning, where he has worked since November 2020 designing and teaching programmes in generative AI for business, natural language processing, agentic workflows, machine learning, computer vision, MLOps and cloud data science, as well as marketing and business analytics. He is also an adjunct professor of data science at Northwestern University School of Professional Studies, adjunct faculty at the University of Arizona, and a board member of the computer vision startup Constems-AI.
Before academia, Gurazada spent more than a decade in sales management in the Gulf, as Sales Manager for the UAE at KIMMCO-ISOVER, a Saint-Gobain and Alghanim Industries joint venture (2009-2020), and earlier at Alghanim Industries in Kuwait.
He holds a PhD from IIM Lucknow, where his research applied machine learning to consumer engagement on social media, an MBA from IIM Bangalore and an integrated master's degree from IIT Bombay. His books include Marketing Analytics (Oxford University Press, 2021), Artificial Intelligence in Business (Vikas, 2025) and Generative AI for Business (Wiley).
